Societal Structure
- there wasn't much of a social structure because they were mostly nomads. there were tribes and each tribe was lead by a chief.
- By 1206 one leader named ghengis khan changed the structure by having one dominant ruler.
- Within each tribe there were nobles and commoners, the whites were nobles and blacks were commoners.
- Families were assigned to based off their social status
- women had more power than other early empires because khan accepted their guidance of women of the most crucial points in his career.
